The Slow Waltz first formed in early 2009 as a side project by Drew Williams and Megan Atlakson. Both Drew and Megan had been writing music separately and had been affiliated with various groups before deciding to come together and try their hand at writing together. The result was immediately recognized as being awesome, and they haven't looked back since.
